STEP Receives Outstanding Provider of the Year Award from ConsumerLink Network
Consumer Link Network honored Services To Enhance Potential as their Outstanding Agency Provider of the Year with an award presented at the May 12, 2005, BHPi 2nd Annual Mental Health Matters! Celebration at the Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit. Senator Hansen Clarke was the keynote speaker. Also highlighting the evening was an Education and Information Fair and Consumer Art Show.
The official program read as follows..."STEP is a provider of vocational services offering Supported Integrated Employment and Skill Building Services. STEP has been actively engaged in working towards increasing community integration at all sites. Their success is moving people from a closed setting into the community not only in employment situations but also as volunteers has been commendable. ConsumerLink is truly proud to acknowledge STEP as a provider of excellence."
