Mr. Hung Ngo has made great strides in recovery. The desire to make changes in his life came from within as well as from the support he receives from his family, Residential provider Henry AFC, and his vocational services provider, Services To Enhance Potential.
Mr. Ngo was hired by Wal-Mart in January where he has learned many different tasks in a maintenance classification. He has discovered that accepting help from others to assist him in reaching his goals has helped him to become a great employee. His work responsibilities require continuing education to stay current with his employer’s policies and procedures. English as his second language has not been a barrier to his success.
Mr. Ngo’s employment has given him a newfound confidence demonstrated by his participation in community events and socialization with his peers. His life has transformed from a non-social, non-communicative lifestyle to one enriched with multiple interactions within his home and community.
We are proud of Mr. Ngo’s achievements and look forward to many more good things coming his way.
