SELF EMPLOYMENT SHOWING EARLY SIGNS OF PROFITABILITYJune 18, 2004 The numbers are in for the income generated in May from a variety of micro-enterprise efforts which are operated from the Business Incubator, Northwest Resource Center. A total of 24 persons were involved in self employment activity dutring the month and their comnbined earnings totaled $1,881.00! The independent enterprises include: Observer & Eccentric newspaper and flyer distribution, Observer & Eccentric survey computation, a shredding business, a vending business, a greeting card business, and a coffee shop business. Congratulations are in order to all of the persons involved and to the great supporting cast of staff, families, and others who have taken an active interest in micro-enterprise!
